The Gilbert Stuart Birthplace and Museum is looking for docents.
Docents guide tours of the house, mills and gardens, informing guests about the history of the buildings, the life of Gilbert Stuart, and about our historical garden. Docents engage with visitors of all ages and from around the world to make their visit memorable. When not giving tours, docents also answer visitor questions and are the public face of the museum.

| Inclement Weather Plan: The museum remains open, and tours are offered rain or shine. Both of the mills, the birthplace and the gallery are all fully sheltered from the elements, but tours will involve travelling the short distance from one building to the next. | |
