The Warren Land Conservation Trust has a trail that needs a new boardwalk section!
We have a trail that every time it rains completely floods. This means that when people try to walk on this section of the trail their boots get stuck in the mud and their footsteps cause erosion. We need to build this boardwalk so that hikers can safely enjoy this beautiful, scenic trail without getting stuck in the mud and damaging the landscape.

The project will require 5-10 volunteers to carry lumber a down the trail and then to help with assembling the boardwalk sections. No carpentry experience required! Coffee & snacks will be provided. Come join us to learn about the complexities of maintaining a trail system and to help make our hiking trails in Warren more beautiful and safe.
