Did you know that there are over 3,000 kids in RI with a parent incarcerated? Approximately 60 of those children/youth between the ages of 7 and 15 years old are currently waiting for a RISE mentor. A mentor is a positive adult, at least 21 years old with a car (or access to one), who wants to build a positive, supportive relationship with his/her mentee. Activities are community-based and fun, and happen twice a month for one calendar year. Learn more about RISE today!
RISE matches adult mentors with children/youth by age preference, interests and skills. Join the RISE family today by contacting Lizzie at llydon@riseonline.org. Thank you!
