Come participate in the International Coastal Cleanup at Fogland Beach in Tiverton! This cleanup is being led by Pepper's Closet. At this event, we will clean up the shore and record what we find on data sheets. The resulting data will be included in the Ocean Conservancy's annual report on marine debris.
Save The Bay will provide the trash bags, data cards, pencils, and disposable gloves. All volunteers should dress for the weather and wear clothes they don't mind getting dirty. Closed-toed shoes are required. All volunteers must be able to do some light to moderate bending and lifting. Volunteers under 16 must participate with an adult. Volunteers must have their own transportation to the event. All volunteers are encouraged to bring their own reusable gloves, water bottle and snacks to the cleanup event. Teams are welcome!
Please complete our waiver and bring it with you THE DAY OF the event. We will have extra copies on hand if you are unable to print. Volunteers under 18 must have their waiver signed by a parent.
