Youth Soccer Ambassador
Role Overview
As a Youth Soccer Ambassador, you’ll help power youth soccer tournaments and community programming during Rhode Island’s Summer of Soccer. Working at tournament sites and event locations, you’ll support the day-to-day operations that keep matches, activities, and participant experiences running smoothly. From assisting players and families to supporting event logistics, you’ll help create a fun, organized, and welcoming environment for young athletes and the broader soccer community.
Key Responsibilities
- Support tournament and event operations at youth soccer sites across Rhode Island
- Assist with field setup and breakdown, including signage, materials, and general site readiness
- Welcome players, coaches, and families and provide general event information
- Help direct participants and spectators to fields, check-in areas, amenities, and event activations
- Support check-in processes, schedule communication, and general tournament flow
- Monitor event spaces and communicate operational needs or issues to event staff
- Help maintain organized, safe, and family-friendly environments throughout tournament activities
