Celebrate Earth Week by joining the Newport Tree Conservancy for a spring cleanup of young, newly planted trees in Miantonomi Park. We will be mulching and surveying trees that have been planted as part of a recent reforestation effort to improve the forest canopy.
No experience is necessary. Tools will be provided. Dress for the weather, and bring gardening gloves if you have them.
Street parking is available along Hillside Avenue. We will gather at the top of the hill behind the playground which is visible from Hillside Avenue.
