Higher Ground International is an organization in South Providence that provides social services to elder Liberian and other West African refugees in the community. HGI is seeking individuals willing to help distribute food to seniors and families in need through the “Sweetie Care” African Elders Enrichment Program.

Volunteers are needed to:
* Pack culturally relevant food bags on Wednesdays from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
* Deliver food packages on Thursdays, shifts start at 10:00 am. Recipients of the food live in Providence, N. Providence, and Pawtucket areas.
