Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 1, for a family-friendly 5k walk, run, roll, or stroll along the banks of the Pawtuxet River! Featuring 3 trestle bridges along the Coventry Greenway, a rail trail known as the Washington-Secondary bike path, enjoy views of the river, two majestic mills, and a jog through Anthony Historic District, on the National Register of Historic Places. Feel the crisp Autumn air at the starting line by Rice Memorial Field and take in beautiful foliage as the morning fog slowly rises off the still water of the pond before the rushing over the dams at Laurel Ave and Clariant Falls. Celebrate the Pawtuxet River with us, just minutes from Route 95, in the historic village of Anthony.
We need volunteers to serve as Course Marshals along the route and act as crossing guards at street intersections to ensure race participants can safetly cross the street. We also need volunteers to serve water at the water stop.
