Eastern Rhode Island Conservation District

We are a non profit organization with a goal to promote and improve long-lasting and environmentally-friendly practices that protect natural resources such as soil, water, and air. 

We aim to meet our vision through outreach, education, help with environmental questions, and financial assistance. We work with a variety of people and groups including farmers, landowners, cities, towns, schools, and others in the community. Our organization needs volunteers to help us maintain a community and educational farm in Portsmouth, RI. Tasks include, but are not limited to, weeding, planting, light construction, and more!
