Who We Are
Gallery Night Providence is a non-profit organization that creates exposure to the visual arts in Providence for diverse public audiences. We cultivate a network of galleries, artists, media outlets, and municipal agencies to strengthen the creative economy in Providence, and support access events to build multi-generational learning.
What We Do
Gallery Night Providence is a free, fun-filled introduction to Providence's exciting art scene. On the third Thursday of the month, from March through November, the city's hottest "art spots" open their doors inviting locals, students, and tourists to a visual arts party.
On gallery nights, guided trolley tours leave approximately every 30 minutes. Each tour visits 3-4 galleries and runs about two hours. Experienced Gallery Night guides and celebrity guides lead the tours. Tour-goers mix and mingle with artists, art collectors, curators, designers, and academics who share their expertise and enthusiasm about Providence's rich artistic community.
