Volunteer: Be a Changemaker for Children & Youth in Washington County: Join Our Board

Interested in being a changemaker?  We can put your skills and interest to work addressing one of the most important issues of our time:  Children's Mental Health.  Our volunteer Board of Directors oversees and advances the mission of the Washington County Coalition for Children, a regional child advocacy organization in southern RI, by

attending monthly meetingsproviding advice and guidancesupporting and advancing our Strategic Planadvocating for what is in the best interest of children/youth in Washington Countyfundraising and financial oversightnetworking and serving as ambassadors for our organization

We are a small working board and are looking for board members with experience in nonprofit administration, accounting/finance, fundraising, marketing, and social media promotion.  In addition to our monthly meetings, Board members are involved in at least 1 committee or project.  Time commitment varies between 4-6 hours per month.  Ideal candidates live or work in Washington County and have a passion for child/youth mental health and wellness.  A short online application needs to be completed for full consideration, but please respond to the need through this site to indicate your interest.
