"JA in a Day" is an event when an entire school has Junior Achievement programs in their classrooms for the whole day.
Volunteers are matched with a classroom based on interest of age and availability. They are provided training on the curriculum content and student engagement strategies prior to the event to ensure maximum success. All materials and lesson plans are provided in advance of the event. Additional training videos are available online for reference.
We meet at the school the morning of and volunteers are placed in a class from approximately 9 am to 2:30 pm. Lunch is provided.
