Robot Block Party

The Robot Block Party features 50 exhibitors who will demonstrate how varied and strong the robotics sector is in Rhode Island: faculty and students from Brown University, RISD, the University of Rhode Island, Johnson and Wales University, and Roger Williams University; the Brown IEEE Robotics Olympiad, which draws teams of undergraduates from throughout the region; industry leaders Hasbro, Zebra Technology, Sproutel and Igus, inc; leaders from community organizations and libraries who teach people to tinker, invent and solve problems; and student groups and robotics teams from the area’s public, private and parochial elementary and secondary schools who are learning about science, technology, engineering and math.
