Details: This statewide day of giving to benefit Rhode Island non-profit organizations will be fun and filled with excitement and energy. We need the help of our volunteers to make this happen. Just an hour of your time would make such a difference! We are asking our volunteers to call our previous donors and thank them for their the generous gifts to Children's Friend, tell them about our matching-fund opportunities, and to encourage them to support us again. We will provide you with a list of donors, a script, excitement, and lots of snacks and food. Free parking is available. Lunch, snacks, and beverages will be provided. There will be a brief training at the beginning of each shift, and a script will be provided.
Requirements:
- Must be comfortable speaking with donors on the telephone, by email and/or leaving messages. Lists of donors will be handed out randomly so you will most likely not be calling people you know.
