THANK-A-THON - March 14, 2023 (Tuesday)
We are taking a day to call our generous donors to thank them for their commitment to our work. Our goal is to reach at least 750 donors to show our appreciation.
Time: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
# of volunteers needed: 8-10 people per shift (one-hour shifts) – you can register for multiple shifts.
Location: 153 Summer Street, Providence. Free parking is available. Lunch, snacks, and beverages will be provided.
Requirements: Volunteers will be making scripted phone calls to current Children’s Friend donors to express the agency's thanks. There will be a brief training at the beginning of each shift and a script will be provided. All calls will be made in the board room, but if a quieter space is needed we will do our best to accommodate. Must be comfortable speaking with donors and/or leaving messages. Lists of donors will be handed out randomly so you will most likely not be calling people you know. No heavy lifting required – just an attitude of gratitude! :)
