The Swearer Center for Public Service at Brown University is partnering with the Alliance for Nonprofit Impact to connect nonprofit and social sector agencies to professionals providing pro-bono consulting in a variety of areas. Consulting engagement may take the form of one hour 'flash consulting' sessions, consulting office hours, and/or short-term project-based consulting arrangements.
The Swearer Center identifies consultants through BrownCAN; Brown University's Community-Engaged Alumni Network). Alumni across class years, degrees, and programs volunteer their time to support local nonprofits. The Alliance for Nonprofit Impact leverages their base of corporate and community volunteers to serve as consultants.
