Day of Action is a worldwide United Way event, offering volunteer opportunities focused on the work of local United Way organizations. In Rhode Island, the Day of Action will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at from 10am to 2pm at Waterfire Arts Center located at 475 Valley Street, Providence  sort, label, and prepare the books for distribution to children in summer learning and afterschool programs.

The RI Summer of Soccer Volunteers program will support international visitors traveling to New England for the June 2026 tournament in Foxboro.

Rhode Island will serve as a key hospitality and fan‑engagement hub, and volunteers will help staff visitor locations, offer friendly guidance, and create a warm, memorable experience.

United Way of Rhode Island is coordinating volunteer recruitment, training, and scheduling statewide. This is a unique chance to represent the Ocean State during one of the world’s largest sporting events and help showcase everything Rhode Island has to offer.
