Want to help build a future in Rhode Island that works for everyone?
United Way is launching Power the Future, a program to prepare youth for jobs of the future.
On Saturday, August 19, at the Rhode Island Convention Center, we are holding a career awareness and workforce development exposition for youth and their parents/guardians to learn more about industries of the future. The event will feature engaging speakers, immersive and interactive experiences, and resources for the whole family.
Volunteers are needed from 7:30 – 11:30 am and 11:30 am – 3:30 pm as greeters, registration, event and activity support, and more. You can volunteer individually or as a corporate team to support this powerful event. Sign up here https://www.ptfri.org/ . Free parking and lunch are included.
Help United Way shift outcomes and create lasting change through Power the Future.
