9/11 Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony -- The Central Rhode Island  Junior Chamber Alumni, Cadets, Scouts, Vets and its Kent County JAYCEES, are asking for community volunteers to serve and/or assist on this year's 9/11 Remembrance Committee.

The Committee will plan and coordinate (as in all prior years) a modest community remembrance ceremony marking the seventeenth (17th) anniversary of those who lost their lives while honoring our first-responders in the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

All Citizens and any Civic Groups, Schools/Students, Public Safety Departments, Scouts, Explorers and Veterans' organizations are encouraged to attend and participate in this public service event.

 

Also, Volunteers needed for basic beautification & clean-up of the Arboretum & Eagle Scout Entrance to the Senator Roch Riverwalk before the event Please contact to help out – Thanks!

 The welcoming venue of the JAYCEE Corridor and Arboretum at the Riverpoint Community Park 110 Hay Street in W. Warwick (along the West Bay Bike Path (Greenway).

The Ceremony is on Tuesday, September 11th starting @ 6:00 pm and is being held under the Eagle Scout Trellis Entrance to the state Senator Roch Riverwalk in the Park.
